I don’t think people understand, self-harm is addicting.

When you’re so sad, you feel numb, you need to feel something. So you feel the pain.

So you take the pain, and it heals. You get used to seeing it on your body, taking up a part of you.

You feel it itch, and become obsessed with what it looks like while it’s healing.

Some sick part of you gets sad seeing it heal up, you want more.

One turns into two, and two turns into twenty

You accumulate a collection of scars representing the hardships in your life that you’ve gone through.

You become a slave to the blade, you need to keep feeling.
